It has two main functions: shows you what files could be deleted (you decide which ones to delete) and optionally finds duplicate files. Just to make sure it's clear: I don't have AVG Antivirus installed, just a program called AVG Cleaner, which is kind of junk cleaner. My guess, is that some Chrome preferences did not get erased the first time, because I realized that the last install asked my for Chrome being the default browser and to send data to Google, which are the questions that it asks in a fresh install. In Spotlight I started to type : goto and there it was. I deleted the program from Applications as usual, but somehow it managed to reappear, not in the Applications folder, but it was still there. I stopped Tunnelblick and attempted to delete GoToMeeting (Citrix) which I actually wasn't using anymore. Well.after a couple of hours, finally looks like it works.
